PLAYERS: Andrew Maxwell
TEAMS:
The Michigan State Spartans (4-4, 1-3) travel to Camp Randall Stadium this Saturday to take on the 25th ranked Wisconsin Badgers (6-2, 3-1) in a game that could potentially make or break the Spartans season. With recent losses against Michigan and Iowa, the Spartans have lost two games in a row for the first time since 2009. If the Spartans fall victim to the Badgers rushing attack on Saturday it will have also been the first time since 2009 that they’ve dropped three games in a row. With a record of 4-4, the Spartans need two more wins to become bowl eligible. With the likes of Wisconsin (6-2), Nebraska (5-2), and Northwestern (6-2) in their near future, the Spartans might need to prepare to pick up another hobby other than BOWLing come December and January. However, a win against the Badgers could give the struggling Spartans a new life as they head into the final stretch of the regular season. MSU is coming off of a disastrous offensive performance against the Michigan Wolverines...

Michigan State continues series against Wisconsin

With four seconds left and the game knotted up at 31 a piece, it was surely to be the last play of regulation. Every play that had previously happened in the game had all come down to this. The play began with Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins lined up in the shotgun, taking the snap from the Wisconsin 44 yard line. Following the snap, Cousins rolled out to his right, buying...

Michigan State- 16 Wisconsin- 13 Definitely Not Rapid Reactions

Yes. I know. The game ended about 4 hours ago. I was there. However, a story too long and boring for me to explain forced me to basically leave the social media world until now. Anyways, it’s not too late for me to give my input. -Whoa. How did the Spartans win that? I didn’t have any faith in them until the ball flew into Bennie Fowler’s hands in OT. I guess the offense finally...

Andrew Maxwell went 9-of-11...

Q&A With Bucky’s 5th Quarter

An example of the excitement of the Wisconsin games. We did a Q&A with Andrew Rosin of Bucky’s 5th Quarter, check it out here! 1.) This has nothing to do with the upcoming game, but why are you a Badgers fan? Ironically, I became a Badger fan in part because of a loss. I mean, my first game was back in the dark days of the Don Morton era (look him up kids). They lost to Western...
