Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio is not putting up with what several of his players tweeted Saturday night regarding Denard Robinson’s performance against Alabama.
“Our guys need to keep their mouths shut,” Dantonio said, “especially those that aren’t even playing.”
Mark Dantonio addressed the media at Spartan Stadium on Tuesday.
Walk-on safety Kyle Artinian, freshman linebacker Jamal Lyles, sophomore running back Nick Hill, and junior linebacker Denicos Allen all insulted Robinson on Twitter during Alabama’s 41-14 massacre over the Michigan Wolverines Saturday night.
“I didn’t see much different when we played the University of Alabama a couple years ago, it’s tough,” Dantonio said, referring to his team’s 49-7 brutal loss to the Crimson Tide in the Capital One Bowl on January 1, 2011.
Dantonio added that he would address his team during today’s practice and that there would be consequences.
