Mississippi State came out and had a pretty strong showing against Auburn last weekend. Maybe now we know why Auburn quarterback Kiehl Frazier couldn’t get anything going. Apparently the Bulldogs figured out the Auburn play calls.
Senior defensive back Corey Broomfield says the Bulldogs knew the plays that were coming.
We do a great job of preparing and we knew what the play was before they ever ran them. That’s not a joke. We knew what they were doing, where the ball was going and who was getting it before the ball was snapped.
Bulldog linebacker Cam Lawrence said “we got in his [Frazier] head”.
My teammates and I got into his head and that’s one thing I’m going to do every game if you’re on offense against me. He would call out the signals and I’d tell everybody what the play was and he’d get that confused look in his face.
Well folks, there you have it. Auburn is off to their first 0 – 2 start in 9 years and that’s got Tiger fans mumbling things about Chizik being on the hot seat and the Bulldogs are off to their first 2 – 0 start since 2000.
Despite the ongoing investigation and allegations that a State coach and a booster were dishing out some extras on the side to current Bulldog Will Redmond, the Dogs are staying focused on “winning the West”.
On a side note, congrats to the Bulldogs on possibly scheduling Oklahoma State.
I’ll leave it at that
