AJ McCarron played the game of his life to help Alabama crush Notre Dame 42-14 to win its second straight national championship and third in four years, but it was his girlfriend, Katherine Webb, who stole the spotlight after she caught the eye of Brent Musburger. The ESPN announcer and his partner Kirk Herbstreit began drooling over the beauty queen, which caused an ESPN spokeman to tweet this out on Tuesday:

The Internet was first introduced to Webb around Christmas when she tweeted a photo of herself and McCarron together for the holiday. The photo sparked speculation that the two were dating. McCarron later confirmed to the media that Webb was his girlfriend, and it wasn’t long before we found out a few details about the young lady.
Webb graduated from rival school Auburn in 2011. She was crowned Miss Alabama USA a year later.
Webb headed to Miami to support her boyfriend during the BCS National Championship Game, but she had no clue what awaited her on Monday night.
With just over four minutes left in the first quarter and Alabama up 14-0, ESPN flashed to a shot of Webb in the stands along with McCarron’s mother, Dee Dee Bonner. All it took was 30 seconds on camera for Webb’s life to permanently change.
The shot of Webb sent thousands of people scrambling to the Internet to find out more about her. Athletes and regular fans began tweeting at her, her number of Twitter followers started to explode, and ESPN realized it had a golden commodity on its hands. The network began flashing to Webb more regularly during the game realizing it was a way to keep viewers interested during a blowout. That only fueled the interest in Webb, whose popularity soared.
Prior to the game, Webb had an estimated 550 Twitter followers. She added over 10,000 followers after the first time she was shown in the stands, and she was up to well over 100,000 followers after the game. The tweets at her were coming from all angles.
Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett tried hitting on her. Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray tried to get her to switch allegiances. Webb even got a Twitter follow from LeBron James, who later unfollowed her.
Upon being informed after the game that King James had followed his girlfriend on Twitter, McCarron had a funny response.
“Seriously?! I’m going to tweet him and I’m going to get a follow. That’s messed up,” he said, according to Clay Travis of Outkick The Coverage.
McCarron was pretty incredulous to find out that his girlfriend, in a matter of hours, had surpassed him in Twitter followers (he had over 87,000 at the time of this publishing). Yes, his girlfriend surpassed him in Twitter followers even though he threw for 264 yards and four touchdowns. Things usually don’t work out that way.
The good news is McCarron says he’s not jealous of the celebrity status Webb received during the game.
“I’m not the jealous type. I know she’s good looking. … I’m the one who’s blessed,” he said per SI.com's Andy Staples.

The funny thing is while Webb was blowing up on the Internet, she had no idea how famous she was becoming; she told reporter Chris Pollone after the game that her phone died. He says she was stunned to learn about her newfound fame.

Yes, she is pretty in my opinion (even though she has very masculine features). But apparently if you are a Quarterback then pretty women will sleep with you, according to what I just listened to.
So go ahead boys of Alabama, go ahead and throw footballs so a hot girl will immediately give herself to you if you are good at it. Because isn't that what pretty women do?

My opinion, she's pretty. If she won Miss AL, then that says something about her looks and personality. I'm not sure about QB's getting the best looking girl on the team. My college team mates, and myself, a black guy, had better looking women than our QB; not to take away from his gf because she was pretty (white girl).

It doesn't mean that black women aren't smart or classy and cannot learn; it just means that there are more white women who grow up understanding the legal jargon and other vernacular that people spew at rich parties and such - if only because of the social networks they establish via their families, schools, churches and parents' careers.
Any athlete or entertainer wants a woman on his arm who will help him land the deal, not blow it by saying the wrong thing or offending someone because she doesn't know the mores and folkways of the rich set.
And - for the record - black women's beauty runs the gamut like that of any other group, ranging from unattractive to absolutely flawless.

Black men can be ugly and still land beautiful women because we have the game and the personalities. But there are very few unattractive black men. Most of us are born with incredible bodies and keep them throughout our lives, even if we put on pounds. We look incredible even when we are bald.
White men who don't look good absolutely MUST have money to get beautiful women. If they don't look good and have no money, they can't have the candy-coated trophy. They also tend to be very insecure, which is why so many of them hate on Black and Latino men.
When white men lose their hair, for example, they cry and wince like the world is coming to an end. It's like they need a security blanket and their hair is it (don't know why).
Conversely, black men simply shave their heads, rock the bald look with confidence and look good doing it, and that attracts women. Fat black men still look sexy to women in their clothes and attract a lot of women (see the late Barry White or late Gerald Levert). Fat white men are considered to be "sloppy" and do not get beautiful models.
Not so with black men. A black man can be practically ugly and virtually homeless and still come up on a bad-ass model chick of any ethnicity.
The white man's blind hate for black men is the result of "***** envy", both figurative and literal. Ask any white man who he would rather be, Tom Brady or Michael Jordan. I know the answer. Ask any white man whether he would rather be a Wall Street millionaire baron or a highly paid baller. I know the answer.
So when white men say disparaging things about black men, I know where it comes from: jealousy and envy. You can raise crime rates (most of which are accounted for by white men), or education levels and lower job prospects (most of which are accounted for by historical racism), but the truth is that many white men just cannot stand the thought of a black man giving it to a pretty white woman the way she likes it.

I think there is a little bit of absurdity and bias to the notion of worshiping another blue-eyed pretty face too, but how do you know they are sleeping together. It may be an abstinence based, wait till later relationship for all we know. Just saying.

Women are attracted to people who are driven, smart, successful, have their stuff together, can be part of a team, and other major personality traits that are sometimes associated with people who are successful atheletes.
No woman wants a committed relationship with someone who looks good with their shirt off, sorry to inform you but that shallowness is a male trait. Women want EVERYTHING ELSE about them that got them to where they are.
But why listen to a woman trying to clue you in when you can just think you know everything about women? Stop telling women what you think they should be, and try listening to a woman for once.
Think of it this way: we're hard-wired to pick the person of the opposite sex that is most likely to help us give birth to the healthiest kids. The healthiest kids means the survival of our genes.
