The Oregon Ducks announced the initial depth chart for the first game against Arkansas State on Sept. 1, 2012.
PORTLAND, Ore. — The Oregon Ducks women’s soccer team fought hard against the #11 ranked Portland Pilots on Friday night on the road at Merlo Field but came up short, losing the match 2-0. After giving up a goal in the third minute of action, the Ducks came back aggressively but couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net.
Freshman Marcus Mariota has been named the starting quarterback in Eugene, and he strongly believes he will become the best quarterback in Oregon history. That's quite a claim when you consider the great names that have recently been in Eugene: Joey Harrington, Dennis Dixon, Jeramiah Masoli, and Darron Thomas.Harrington almost won the Heisman Trophy, Dixon went 10-0 his senior...
In the hunt for the next great quarterback at Oregon, all signs entering the fall seemed to point toward Bryan Bennett. The third-year sophomore played in nine games last season backing up Darron Thomas, and in his one start, led the Ducks to a 45-2 road win at Colorado. Not too shabby a debut, huh?
However, if you really followed the quarterback position closely in...
