Oklahoma State star wide receiver Justin Blackmon is skipping his senior year and entering the 2012 NFL Draft. Blackmon's decision wasn't much of surprise considering he caught 38 touchdown passes over the last two seasons while totaling 3,304 receiving yards. However, what is surprising is how hall of fame quarterback Warren Moon compared Blackmon to former OSU receiver Dez Bryant during a recent radio interview. "He's a beast, isn't he? He's like Dez Bryant with all of his brain cells," Moon told KIRO-AM 710 in Seattle. "He's a guy that has all those skills that Dez Bryant has but he's not the knucklehead that Dez Bryant has turned out to be with Dallas. And a much better route runner than Dez Bryant is, but a very tremendous talent." Bryant has obviously had more than his share of off the field problems, which included a criminal trespass warning at a Dallas mall and multiple lawsuits stemming from unpaid loans. But Moon's comments were quite stunning considering he wasn't even provoked by the radio hosts. Bryant improved statistically during his second NFL season, catching 63 passes for 928 yards and nine touchdown, but that doesn't seem to have improved his reputation with a certain nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback. Warren Moon: Justin Blackmon is Dez Bryant with All of His Brain Cells

Considering they both played at Oklahoma State, are wide receivers, and dominated the game of college football, comparisons between Dez Bryant and Justin Blackmon are unavoidable. The Cowboys selected Bryant with the 24th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and Blackmon is sure to go in the first round this April — likely somewhere close to the top-10. While most of the comparisons...

Wrestling. Tie Goes to the Cowboys

The top-ranked University of Iowa wrestling team split 10 matches with No. 2 Oklahoma State tonight, 16-16, but the Cowboys outscored the Hawkeyes 54-51 in match points and earned a 17-16 victory in front of a sell-out crowd at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Changing Needs

Ugh. That was not a fun ending to a bowl game…even if you weren’t particularly pulling for one of the teams. Plus, now Oklahoma State will really be complaining about not being in the championship game. Not that I disagree with them. I just don’t think I can take that squabbling AND this Republican Iowa Caucus stuff at the same time.
