Today, was the beginning of the college football season press conference for Brian Kelly and Notre Dame football. Obviously, last year’s starting QB Everett Golson is not a part of the team anymore. But when you lead a team to be 12-1, you’re still in the hearts of minds of your fans. With all the off-the-field issues and bad publicity surrounding the program, especially about the dismissal of Everett Golson, it was essential that Brian Kelly win the press conference. And he definitely did. He answered everything thrown at him quite well. And as for Everett Golson, the wheels are in motion for him to return to ND. Best case scenario, if everything goes right, would be spring semester and then returning to the field in 2014. Of course, it’s still early to speculate whether that happens or not. Q.  I know Everett Golson is not here.  Do you have a specific plan for him?  Both you and he hope, expect to be back in January? COACH KELLY:  Yeah, we expect him back in January.  There will...

Notre Dame Not Impressed with Jadaveon Clowney's Sled Flip

Like many of you out there, I love football. I can't begin to express how glad I am that the game is getting closer and closer to a return.
