I don’t know if it’s because they saw Texas A&M move the ball on Alabama or they are feeling good from beating down Texas. Ole Miss faces off against Alabama in Tuscaloosa this weekend and you would think they would be trying to lay in the weeds and sneak up on the Tide. Not so fast with all the talking the Rebels have been doing:
“We can put points on them,” Wallace said. “I think we can put points on anybody. We just got to show up and play and it’s the same thing every week: Let’s stay on schedule and control the tempo and don’t have any turnovers.”
“We have better receivers than A&M,” Wallace said. “They want to talk about Mike Evans being so good; well, we have Donte (Moncrief) and I think Laquon (Treadwell) is going to be that way. I think we have better players on the outside than A&M does.”
I like the Rebels having confidence but they are starting to show their youth with all this chatter. It’s not like the Tide needed bulletin board material but Ole Miss is determined to do it. Their chances of pulling this upset drop each time they comment on the game.

Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace exuded confidence Monday. The No. 21 Rebels, he believes, can put up points against any opponent, top-ranked Alabama included.

But Wallace says the Rebels aren't about to back down, adding that he...
Ole Miss freshman wide receiver may have just bitten off a little bit more than he can chew, but I do give him respect for having stones to speak his feelings.
Treadwell stepped on the hot coals just enough to burn his feet, but left himself just enough room for interpretation when he sent out this tweet talking about an upset.
Treadwell and the Rebels of course travel to...
Ole Miss wide receiver Donte Moncrief and defensive end C.J. Johnson preview the Rebels' upcoming meeting at top-ranked Alabama.
The controversial figure that is Marshall Henderson will return to the team Friday as the Rebels open practice. Henderson was suspended during the off-season for multiple run-ins with the law.
Although Henderson is allowed to practice, that doesn’t mean he’ll see meaningful action right away. Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork told USA Today the number of games Henderson will...
