Phils Sign Howard to 3 Year $54 Million Deal

Today the Philadelphia Phillies re-signed first baseman Ryan Howard to a 3 year $54 million deal. With this move the Phillies and Howard avoid arbitration. This is a great move considering that Howard is the main reason that the Phils have just managed to nudge their way into the play-offs the past two years, and eventually leading to their first World Series victory in 28 years.?
