The Orange Bowl tweeted a photo of “injured” mascot Obie being released from the hospital. Obie was using crutches, had a few bandages and was missing a tooth. The mascot was even carrying a sign that read, “Not Cool D_Cook25.” @D_Cook25 is West Virginia safety Darwin Cook’s Twitter handle. Cook took out the mascot during a 99-yard fumble return against Clemson. Check out the video.
