We spent a lot of time this summer talking about battles for starting quarterback. While some of those battles have been settled, some coaches have opted to use multiple signal-callers over the course of the game. It is early, and this could certainly change, but the three teams below have shown that it can be done effectively at times.
Bethune-Cookman: Jackie Wilson, Quentin Williams, Brodrick Waters
Talk about a wealth of riches. Bethune-Cookman Coach Brian Jenkins as three players that could start at quarterback for at least a third of the conference. All three quarterbacks helped the Wildcats take home the 2012 MEAC title and all three came back for the re-up. Williams is generally considered the best passer, Waters has the jets and Wilson is somewhere in between.
Wilson: 12 for 19, 2 TDs
Waters: 7 for 16, 1 TD
Williams: 10 for 16, 1 TD 101 rushing yds, 2 rushing TDs
Winston-Salem State: Anthony Carrothers and Rudy Johnson
