No. 1 Alabama remained perfect Saturday, beating arch rival Tennessee for the sixth year in a row to move to 7-0, 4-0 in the SEC. After the game, head coach Nick Saban went as far as saying the Crimson Tide played their most "complete game" of the season.

Holy crap, A.J. McCarron’s mom is hot

Holy smokes, A.J. McCarron’s mom (the one in the middle) has got some glorious sweater stuffers. The above picture of the Alabama quarterback’s mom is making the rounds on the Internet and making a case why Mrs. McCarron (her name is actually Dee Dee Bonner…yeah, seriously) should be a first ballot SEC Milf.

AJ McCarron’s Mom Is, Um, Noteworthy

That’s Dee Dee Bonner in the red. She’s the mother of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron and would’ve still just been AJ’s mom with very little fanfare, but Tennessee fans went looking into Dee Dee’s photo collection. Shockingly, the SEC has a new subject to light up message boards with. This all comes after BC broke the news that the Bama QB was signing boobs at a Tuscaloosa...

Cooper, Yeldon make big impact for top-ranked Tide

Alabama's freshman skill-position players of offense are coming of age just as the top-ranked Crimson Tide enter the most critical part of their schedule. Amari Cooper and T.J. Yeldon each scored two touchdowns Saturday in Alabama's 44-13 rout of Tennessee. Cooper caught seven passes and set an Alabama freshman single-game record with 162 receiving yards. Yeldon rushed for...

Cooper Sets Frosh Receiving Record

Amari Cooper had a very good night for the Alabama Crimson Tide in Knoxville Saturday as the true freshman hauled in seven passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-13 win over Tennessee.

Alabama remains No. 1 in AP poll

Alabama has run its streak of weeks at No. 1 in The Associated Press college football poll to eight, the longest stay atop the rankings by the Crimson Tide. Alabama received 59 of 60 first-place votes from the media panel. The Tide has twice previously been No. 1 for seven consecutive weeks - in 1979 when Bear Bryant coached `Bama to a national title and in 1980 when the Tide finished...

Nick Saban says Derek Dooley “is doing a fantastic job” at Tennessee

It’s not unusual for Nick Saban to make statements that don’t really make sense. Case in point, Saban’s comments about Derek Dooley after Alabama dominated Tennessee 44-13. Saban used his opening statement in his post-game press conference to shower his former assistant with praise. Praise that most in Knoxville don’t agree with it. And since this is obviously “Saban-talk”...

QUICK HITS: Monday with Saban

Alabama head coach Nick Saban discussed Mississippi State, his young breakout stars Amari Cooper and T.J. Yeldon, and his mother's carrot cake at his weekly Monday press conference.

Discover Fan Loyalty Poll: Fans Agree, But Should Alabama Crimson Tide Remain No. 1 In 2012 BCS Standings?

The Alabama Crimson Tide are once again the No. 1 team in the latest release of the 2012 BCS Standings, much the same as they are in the AP Top 25 as well as the Discover Fan Loyalty Poll. Alabama is the top team coming off of another SEC Blowout against the Tennessee Volunteers, but do they deserve to remain as the No. 1 team in the BCS rankings? I predicted that the Crimson Tide...

Gators stay at No. 3; FSU up one to No. 11

Florida remained at No. 3 in The Associated Press college football poll, though it did garner one first-place vote, narrowing the gap between the Gators and No. 2 Oregon. Alabama is No. 1 for the eighth straight week, the longest stay atop the rankings by the Crimson Tide. Alabama received 59 of 60 first-place votes from the media panel. The Crimson Tide had been the unanimous No...

Mississippi State Next For Alabama

Stop me if you’ve heard this one. “Alabama hasn’t played anyone.” The big test is always coming, and thus far the Crimson Tide has been able to handle it. To be sure, the Crimson Tide benefited from some bad injury luck, Arkansas and Missouri not having their starting quarterbacks when they played Bama. Regardless, drama has not been the theme of Tide football games this season.

Tide Specialists Good Against Vols

Football historians can cite numerous examples of the kicking game being paramount in the classic Third Saturday in October clashes between Alabama and Tennessee. Legendary coaches Robert Neyland for the Vols and Paul Bryant for the Crimson Tide put utmost importance on special teams.
