The Duck Stops Here:
In addition to being a superb college football player and a tremendous teammate, De'Anthony Thomas has made a terrific impact in the Eugene community. Kids love him for his warmth, genuineness and charisma, and he repays their admiration with kind attention. Like many of the Ducks, he's made outreach and gracious gestures a part of his routine.

Offense wins games, defense wins championships. In Oregon offense has won 62 games in the last five and a half years. Offense has won four consecutive BCS Bowl berths. Offense has won an NFL-like facility. The offense is the grassroots to a cult swing in football. Yep, in Eugene offense has won them just about everything, except a national championship. But 2013 is different...
Marcus Mariota isn’t exactly new to the college football scene. As a redshirt freshman he tallied over 3,400 total yards and 37 touchdowns while being named the Pac-12′s Offensive Freshman of the Year and leading the Oregon Ducks to a Fiesta Bowl win. Yet, despite all of his success, Mariota was still somewhat of a hidden gem of the Northwest (he didn’t even crack the top...
Yesterday we posted an article about how the Oregon Duck cheerleaders were going to wear these gnarly colored contacts for the Washington game this past weekend. The colored contacts were cool, but our attention was diverted elsewhere shortly after seeing them.
The Oregon Ducks cheerleader squad has to be the best in the nation. It’s quite an anomaly. We know that Oregon is a football...
SEATTLE -- After the Ducks demolished Washington on Saturday Oct. 12, 2013 at Husky Stadium, some were calling him Super Marcus, but Marcus Mariota was the same leveled headed guy he's always been. Mariota passed for 366 yards, three touchdowns and ran for 88 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions or fumbles.
SEATTLE -- After recording his second 150 yards plus day of receiving in a row, Bralon Addison talks to media after Oregon's 45-2 win over Washington on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at Husky Stadium. Addison had eight catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns for the day.
Stanford sacked Keith Price five times, and if Oregon can get that kind of pressure on him, particularly with the defensive line, it's a huge plus in grounding the Husky offense. The Huskies are a team that grinds it out five to eight yards at a time rather than exploding for big plays, and some negative plays will lead to stops. If the Ducks can get the ball back to their offense...
Why Oregon fans love Marcus Mariota: he's a great player who always shares credit. He respects the game, the opponent and his teammates. He's always focused on getting better and meeting the next challenge.
SEATTLE, Wash. -- Oregon wide receiver Josh Huff speaks with media about the injury that knocked him out of the first half and then coming back in for the second half for a 65-yard TD pass reception.
One of the sublime joys of sports is witnessing the unfolding of greatness and dreams.
Duck fans are in the midst of one of the game's special stories, and a parallel story is developing in Kentfield, California, where the present of Duck football touches on the future.
Quarterback Morgan Mahalak, the Duck verbal commit who has already established himself as the leader and...
Marcus Mariota leads Ducks in the air and on the ground, passing for three touchdowns and running for another as Ducks convincingly tame the Huskies.
With sidekick Christian French, Tyler "Moose" Johnstone explores the Oregon Street Fair and interviews students. We learn that imitators and posers never win.
Video feature from KEZI-TV. Hat tip to Mike Wines of Oregon Duck Soup, who provides Duck fans with all the best in interviews and video feautres.
Johnstone promises a future visit from De'Anthony Thomas' pet gekko, Gucci.
The Pac-12 Conference for the second consecutive week has named Oregon sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota as its Offensive Player of the Week. Mariota, earlier on Tuesday was also named the Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week for his performance against Washington last Saturday in Oregon's 45-24 win at Husky Stadium.
I am not sure how to describe this thing. It appears to have occurred during the College Game Day broadcast. Were they having a dance off or something? Was that What Does the Fox Say? song playing and these guys were showing some love for a fellow member of the animal kingdom?
I don't know, but I do know that I can't stop watching it.
Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota may have entered the weekend as the Heisman frontrunner, but Saturday’s 45-24 win at Washington erased any...
SEATTLE -- Marcus Mariota was finally forced to take a fourth-quarter snap for Oregon. He was just as good as he was in the first three.
