After an unprecedented start to his tenure as head football coach at Jacksonville State University, Rich Rodriguez has solidified his commitment to the Gamecocks by signing a two-year extension, extending his leadership through 2030.

With an impressive 18-6 record since joining Jacksonville State, Rodriguez has left an indelible mark on the program. Under his guidance, the Gamecocks clinched the ASUN Conference Championship in 2022 and in 2023, the program's first season in Conference USA, secured a victory in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl in 2023, marking significant milestones in the team's history.
