Many sports fans, don’t know about Daren Bates, but let me tell a little about this kid. Daren Bates is probably one of the most passionate football players I have ever watched. Bates has a motor that never slows down and it showed early in his career at Auburn. Daren was an All American his Freshman year playing Safety. He reminds me of a Ray Lewis/Brian Dawkins mix. He is a person that can change the game by his crushing blows. Over the life of his career, he would be moved to linebacker and play both positions. This is what really intrigues the St. Louis Rams about him. He is versatile and is a competitor. I had the honor to sit down and interview Daren, I would like to let you the Rams fan get to know Daren a little better.
