Only three days away from the big two year birthday for I Want to be a Sports Agent. I have to thank everyone who has ventured across this blog from its beginning and remained a part of it. Whether you are a contributor, reader, tip-giver, commentator, etc., I am truly thankful for your role in establishing this site as one of the leading sources for sports agent related news and links. With that said, here are some links that I did not discuss over the past week: * Emmett Jones took the time to put together what he feels to be the top 100 posts by sports blogs over the past year. SportsAgentBlog.com - I Want to be a Sports Agent gets a few mentions [2007 Sports Recap]. * The Red Sox and Yankees were once again hit with pretty large luxury tax bills, but the good news for each organization is that the bill is smaller than last year's [Yankees lower luxury tax bill for second straight year]. * When former Florida State Seminole and current Jacksonville Jaguars fullback, Greg Jones, retires from the NFL, he wants to be a sports agent. He humorously stated, "Basically, when I have to write a check to my agent, it's kind of hard to give up that 3 percent. So maybe I can be the one getting it from somebody one day."
