Should Joe Alexander Go Pro?

Posted March 29, 2008 on Scolap21's Blog:
I say no. Here is why after this season he'll be better known as a senior. You don't want to be in a draft between Beasley, Love, Mayo, and the Memphis three. He might not be a top 10 pick this year but if he can go on a tear next year he possibly could be a top 7 pick. He shows great athetism, focus, and now determination. So Joe don't go. It is not like you had a bad year and declared like Steve Slaton who won't be a first day pick.

  • I think an additional year will help Alexander mature a bit. He's good, but he will be a possible second team All America by Next year if he stays. So i think he should hold off and finish his career at WVU.
  • Stay. He needs one more year.
