In what was supposed to be a competitive matchup between two middle-of-the-road ACC teams, Georgia Tech absolutely manhandled Syracuse today in Atlanta. SU gave up 394 yards on the ground to the Yellow Jackets, failed to find the end zone, and was demolished, 56-0. The loss, one of the worst in team history, leaves the Orange at 1-2 in their new league.
Tonight, sophomore cornerback Julian Whigham took to Twitter to apologize to fans and promise “a better product.”
apologies to SU fans.. all we can do is promise a better product. Develop a selfless mindset & commit to becoming the best we can be.

The Orange will need to improve their play to have a shot at a bowl bid this season – they already have four losses, along with Florida State remaining on their schedule.

Syracuse may be about four hours northwest of New York City, but the Orange still appear to be committed to calling themselves “New York’s College Team”. Last night, SU coach Jim Boeheim arrived to “Orange Madness” in a NYC-style yellow taxi, got out and addressed the crowd with a rousing “Are you ready for the ACC?” I’m not sure who convinced him to do it, but it...

This whole thing came about when ESPN asked a bunch of ACC basketball players and coaches to draw a rendering of their school's mascot.
The results were very entertaining to say the least.
Jim Boeheim is one of the winningest coaches in college basketball history. But he is set to start something brand new in the 2013-14 season, compete in the ACC. He addressed that, previews the upcoming season and more at Syracuse media day.
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Syracuse Orange’s first trip to Georgia Tech as a fellow member of the ACC was one the program would soon like to forget, as the Yellow Jackets ran for nearly 400 yards in a dominant 56-0 win.
With the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (3-3, 2-2 ACC) struggling to defend the pass, they should be glad to see the Syracuse Orange
(3-3, 1-1 ACC) running into Bobby Dodd Stadium. The Jackets looks to
halt a three-game skid, while the Orange are trying to keep momentum
going after a 24-10 win at N.C. State.
The Jackets and Orange have only ever met twice in the past and...
