Unable to run at the NFL Scouting Combine last month due to a broken left little toe, TCU defensive end Stansly Maponga was cleared to do so Thursday at pro day - posting official forty times of 4.84 and 4.85. He also benched pressed 225 pounds 30 times and had a vertical jump of 29.5 inches. We get his thoughts inside.

With TCU wideout Josh Boyce out with a foot injury, defensive end Stansly Maponga, receiver Skye Dawson and tight end Corey Fuller stole the pro day show Thursday. Several former Frogs and active NFL-ers, like Andy Dalton and Daryl Washington, were in attendance to show support. FSNext's Jeremy Clark and Erin Hartigan weigh in on all.
TCU held its annual pro day Thursday on campus, and per usual, head coach Gary Patterson was like a proud father. He met with the media to touch on the evolvement of the program, and explain exactly what NFL teams will be getting in his guys, particularly wideout Josh Boyce and defensive end Stansly Maponga.
