Found December 17, 2012 on The Cardinal Connect:
Louisville offensive coordinator Shawn Watson spoke very briefly with media members this afternoon and gave an up on starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Watson says Teddy has had the cast on his wrist removed and will likely be able to play under center against Florida in the Sugar Bowl. Bridgewater was only able to take snaps in the shotgun formation during Louisville’s final regular game of the season due to a fractured wrist that he suffered against Connecticut. “He is back to himself,” Watson told the media this afternoon. I imagine Bridgewater will still have some slight signs of an injured wrist when the Cards take on Florida in the Sugar Bowl, but getting the cast off is a huge step, especially with a little over two week left until the game.

Bridgewater has cast removed from wrist

University of Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is out of his cast and “back to being himself,” according to offensive coordinator Shawn Watson. Bridgewater suffered a broken left wrist in the Connecticut game. Here’s an update.
