Mad Hatter gone wild: LSU coach Les Miles didn't take too kindly to a question about the roles of the hammer and the nail in the Tigers' rivalry with Florida. We counted a total of four naughty words in the Tigers' coach's reply. Chalk it up as yet another memorable moment with a microphone for Miles. Down goes Johnny, up goes Johnny: Everyone in Oxford and College Station had to be holding their breath when the reigning Heisman winner fell to the turf at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and clutched his knee. The non-contact hit looked exactly like so many ACLs that had been torn before, and he didn't put much weight on it as he left the field. Perhaps he's developed the ability to heal quickly, because he returned shortly after slapping on a brace and offered a nice shimmy to break loose for a 24-yard run on a 3rd-and-14. Crisis averted, Aggies. Manziel had one particular high-profile viewer, too. More Manziel magic: I hope you didn't forget about college football's most electric player? He led the Aggies on a game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter, capped by a vintage six-yard touchdown run from Manziel that required almost 30 yards of actual running from the elusive Heisman winner. After a three-and-out, he made the two-minute drill look easy and set up a game-winning field goal to send the Aggies home from Oxford with smiles on their faces.
