Fortunately for Louisville back-up quarterback Will Gardner, due to Louisville’s overwhelming leads, he’s played in three of the four games so far this season. “He’s done really well,” Shawn Watson said following Tuesday’s practice. “He’s going to be a great player, he is a great layer right now. He just happens to have the best player in college football playing ahead of him, but he’s benefited greatly from that.” In three games, Gardner has completed seven-of-ten passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns.
