PLAYERS: Chip Kelly
TEAMS:
Last night ESPN’s Thursday night college football game featured the Oregon Ducks and the Arizona State Sun Devils. Last week I covered the hot girls and fans of the Red River Rivalry and figured what better game to cover then one at Arizona State where the girls flock like the salmon of Capistrano. They are supposed to be the hottest of the hot so I wanted to see for myself if this was true. Unfortunately Arizona State laid a major egg and got absolutely rolled by Oregon. Because of this the overwhelming majority of the people the camera showed in the crowd and on the sidelines were from Oregon. However, this ended up being a blessing in disguise as Oregon has some pretty hot cheerleaders and a few of the male cheerleaders made it their duty to photobomb the camera at every opportunity. On top of this I also sprinkled in some of the best shots of fans and their reaction to the blowout.

This is the baseline picture where Arizona State actually looks like they are going to be in this game. This was the first instance of seeing the crowd and gave us a representation of what we are working with. As a whole there are a bunch of dudes and a bunch of chicks that are average looking. There’s a small pocket in the top right where their might be a little bit of potential. Like some coaches say, just don’t lose the game in the first quarter. For the reputation of Arizona State’s girls at least they didn’t start out with some heifers and get things started in the wrong direction. They live to fight another day.

All right, things are starting to look better.

There is a misconception that all cheerleaders are hot. That is most definitely not the case. Thankfully this Arizona State cheerleader is. She sort of looks like a hotter blonde version of Rachael Leigh Cook.

Two more hot Oregon cheerleaders doing some good work.

This cheerleader sort of reminds me of Tila Tequila. Also, is there any question that the cheerleader on the right is hot? That’s hot girl hair right there. Lastly, this is the first of many photobombs by this male cheerleader. At first I thought that this dude was just super creepy but then as the night went on I saw that the joke was on us and him and his other male cheerleaders did anything that they could to photobomb the camera when the camera guy was trying to get a shot of the hotties. Kudos to you sir. No one else may have noticed your good work but I most certainly did.

This is what losing looks like. It’s also the same look that New York Jets fans have when they see Mark Sanchez drop back for a pass. Props go out to the guy who is wearing the Arizona State helment. His team may be getting crushed but at least he’s rocking one of the coolest helmets in college football. Lastly, the girl on the far right saves this picture as she’s attractive and has hot girl hair.

Another hot Oregon cheerleader. Also, what in the hell is the mascot doing?

Damn dude, your o-face is dreamy.

And the photobomb’s really start picking up steam now. By the way, great defense Arizona State. Way to hold Oregon to under 50 with 8 minutes left to go in the second quarter.

This cheerleader went with the crazed robot photobomb look.

Helmet guy is still cheering despite the Sun Devils being down 36 in the first half. Where’s the girl with the hot hair?

Another general picture of the crowd to give us an idea of the talent we are working with. The girl in the right corner is the cream of the crop. The chicks are OK but once again, they are living to fight another day. More importantly the girls all seem attainable. Sure you want to see the perfect 10 smokeshow’s but be realistic. If you saw them in the bar there’s no way you’d turn on your inner Bill Bellamy from How to be a Player and mack on one of them. You need something that’s more your style, like 6.5′s – 8′s. In the end it’s all but closing.

Chip Kelly is having a great week. First he’s seen with this hot chick on Sportscenter and now he’s being interviewed by Samantha Steele. Apparently this is just another day in the life of Chip Kelly because he seems as interested as Ricky Rubio and Jeremy Lin are to talk with Craig Sager. By the way, I just found out that Samantha Steele is dating Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder. That helps put things into perspective into what it takes to land someone like Samantha Steele.

Don’t mind me in the background behind the hot Oregon cheerleaders. Another great photobomb.

Arizona State may be down by 36 but this guy in the Arizona State band isn’t giving up hope. He’s trying to change the tide by rocking a rally cap. Way to keep the faith my friend.

All right, things are getting a little bit better. To steal something from last night’s “The League”, this is a +2.

Someone isn’t happy that the Oregon Duck is getting camera time because he’s stacking up cups. Without the Oregon Duck stacking up cups this chick would never have been on camera or been mentioned on an obscure sports blog dedicated to sports nostalgia and random jerseys. Here’s your one second of fame, sure glad you took advantage of it.

These dance squad girls in the background look like they belong in a Zatarain’s commerical.

It’s good to see that Charlotte Bobcats fans finally got an endorsement.

Here comes a string of some great photobomb’s by the Oregon guy cheerleaders. This guy is keeping his crazed robot thing going.

Insert “I might be a little bit psycho” look. I really like that one.

Insert tough black guy look photobomb. This is the picture when I figured out that the joke was on us and these guys weren’t just being creepy. The smirk on the guy on the lefts face says it all. By the way, what is wrong with Evander Holyfield? He’s 108 years old and as relevant as Crystal Pepsi so why is he saying that he isn’t retiring.

Oh look how cute Justin Beiber is. Wait a second, what’s the guy on the left doing? Great photobomb.

His bro wanted to join in on the action.

I had no clue that Arizona State’s mascot was named Sparky. Now you know.

Where’s Waldo?

I wasn’t kidding when I told you that they rarely showed girls from Arizona State. This is the first time that they showed their cheerleaders. Based on this they could probably rival the Oregon cheerleaders for hotness.

Why does someone spike their hair like this? To get attention. It worked, you are on TV.

They’ve got plenty to cheer about.

Really, could these guys be set up any better?

This is some dedication to find a way to sneak in this picture. The cheerleader on the right might be the hottest girl of the night.

Oregon fans. Definitely not stoners.
Overall I’d say that I am disappointed in the girls from Arizona State. I am willing, however, to hold judgement as the game was a blowout and I’m sure all the 9′s and 10′s were back at some fraternity party hitting on guys named Chad that is wearing croakies and has two popped coller shirts on. A special shout out goes to the Oregon men’s cheerleaders. They stole the show and even though the Oregon female cheerleaders were really hot, they were way more entertaining.

BCS Bias? Potential road blocks for high flying #3 Oregon Ducks

Have you ever seen a team ranked too high in the BCS poll, and thought to yourself, “Give me a break”? Of course you have. More than likely that has happened this season, this month, maybe even this week. There are a lot of quality and highly ranked teams in the mix this year, and yet some of them, most notably #5 Notre Dame and #10 USC, and more importantly #2 Florida, seem...
TOTAL DUCK MOVE

Somebody painted the Arizona State 'A' green

This is the kinda awesome college football fan warfare that we need more of. The Arizona State “A” outside Sun Devil Stadium was vandalized prior to tonight’s game between ASU and the Oregon Ducks. The “A” was painted green, and we can only assume it was by some rabid and loyal Oregon fans. The “A” [...]

Oregon Ducks fan sports neon green beard, resembles a psychedelic Santa (pic)

The Oregon Ducks hit the road to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils down in Tempe for a Thursday night match-up. Traveling with them, I imagine, was a decent contingent of Ducks backers, as the fan base always travels well. Among those who made the trip south — or maybe they are just snowbirds [...]

Video: Oregon's Bryan Bennett makes a mockery of Devils defense for a score

Chip Kelly's high-octane offense produces a lot of scoring. I mean a lot. So, it is only natural that a crazy-looking one is churned out every now and then. Such was the scene on Thursday night as the undefeated No. 3 Oregon Ducks visited the Arizona State Sun Devils in Tempe. Seen here is Oregon quarterback Bryan Bennett pulling a rabbit out of his hat and delivering a 2-yard...

Oregon Ducks: Marcus Mariota Heisman Watch Week 7

University of Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota once again led the Ducks to an impressive win this week as they overpowered the Arizona State Sun Devils 43-21 in Tempe. That is not unique. What is unique is how he did it.Instead of depending on his passing prowess, Mariota, a 6-4 freshman from Honolulu, Hawaii, focused on the running game and blew the Sun Devils out of their own stadium...

What we learned: ASU not ready for prime time

Arizona State lost to No. 3 Oregon on Thursday night, and it wasn't even close. The Ducks dominated every facet, led by 36 points after 19 minutes of play and left the Sun Devils lost amid injuries and mistakes in a 43-21 blowout. ASU now must regroup for a big game against UCLA next Saturday. A win would make the Devils bowl eligible, provide a nice boost of confidence after...

Oregon Ducks Impressive Improvised Touchdown

Oregon sent in their backup quarterback, Bryan Bennett, to run this play.  It looks as though his initial intention was to run a Read Option and get into the end zone on a quarterback keeper. It looks like there was a bit of a miscommunication and because he never crossed the line of scrimmage the pass was completely legal.  Even though, it looks like the toss may have still gone...

ASU exposed by Oregon in reality-check loss

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Plenty of skeptics figured Arizona State would come back to Earth against No. 3 Oregon on Thursday night. Few expected it to happen on the second play of the game. After losing star defensive tackle Will Sutton to a knee injury in the game's first minute, the Sun Devils were exposed by a vastly superior team in a 43-21 loss in which Oregon scored six touchdowns...

Pickens Game of the Week Tonight – QUACK QUACK QUACK

Pickens Game of the Week Tonight – QUACK QUACK QUACKThe time has come for a HIGH CONVICTION PICK. The Sun Belt let me down on Tuesday night, but the Oregon Ducks will rise to the occasion. Some of you may recall that I referred to these picks as Golden Picks last year in honor of Miami’s new coach. Given their lack of success, I retired that name. I will simply call this the...
