Three Texas Longhorns football players were arrested and charged with failure to obey a lawful order after police were called to a disturbance in Austin on Monday morning.
Defensive end Alex Okafor, safety Kenny Vaccaro and tight end Barrett Matthews were all hit with the misdemeanor charge, while former player Eryon Barnett was charged with failure to identify himself, KXAN.com reported.
Police said officers were called to the disturbance at an establishment in downtown Austin about 1:30am.
When they arrived, the officers asked the four players to leave but they refused.
The players were subsequently taken into custody and charged.
Barnett was being held in Travis County jail Monday evening.
Okafor and Vaccaro were All-Big 12 selections last season, while Matthews made two catches for nine yards last year.
Barnett, a junior defensive back, announced his intentions to transfer from Texas last month
