Found August 27, 2013 on Fox Sports:
Coach Tommy Tuberville hasn't picked a quarterback for Cincinnati's season opener on Saturday against Purdue. Brendon Kay and Munchie Legaux had minor injuries during the Bearcats' camp and neither one ran the offense smoothly enough for Tuberville to name one the starter. He said on Tuesday that he plans to choose one later in the week, but both are likely to play. Legaux started last season but was replaced by Kay after he struggled with interceptions and a low completion percentage. Kay had the edge heading into the season, but a sore passing shoulder caused him to miss time during workouts this month. It'll be Tuberville's first game as Cincinnati's coach. He came from Texas Tech after Butch Jones headed to Tennessee.

Bearcats' QB competition still open

Coach Tommy Tuberville is keeping Cincinnati's quarterback competition going for at least one more week. Tuberville says he'll decide later in the week whether to give Munchie Legaux his second consecutive start, or switch back to Brendon Kay for a game at Illinois (1-0) on Saturday. Kay was the incumbent starter, but developed a sore shoulder during camp. Tuberville decided...

Getting to Know the 2013 Bearcats: Defensive Line

Welcome to the first defensive edition of Getting to Know the 2013 Bearcats. I have gone through the trouble of separating the ends and the tackles just because I care about all of you. The players simply listed as DL went as tackles because that's fair enough. I haven't actually done any of that yet because I'm writing this first. Sometimes I'll write the opening...

American Athletic Conference preview 2013: Louisville cream of the crop

In all of college football, Louisville is one of the schools most likely to run the table this season, but despite an overall weak conference, the Cardinals will have some hurdles to jump over along the way. Cincinnati, Rutgers, and UCF are all projected to tie for second in the conference and are formable foes for Louisville. Overall, half of the league is picked to become bowl...

Purdue Sellout Official, No Starting QB Named Until Saturday?

A couple of notes just 5 DAYS AWAY FROM FOOTBALL SEASON. The first note is that Purdue is officially a sellout. As noted here last week, Whit Babcock really believes that this is going to set the all time attendance mark at Nippert Stadium. This is a word of advice to anyone going Saturday, get there at like 8 am. You can sleep in the parking lot for an hour or two if you want. If...
