Hawkeye fans pull off impressive card stunt

I’m not sure why this hasn’t been on our site yet, but I figured I’d be the right person to write about this. I was in attendance for this stunt and was pretty leery about how well it would work. The stunt depended on a lot of college students and football fans who had probably been consuming alcohol for roughly 7 or 8 hours before kickoff. I shouldn’t have worried so much. When the cue came to raise the cards, everything went off without a hitch. I was in shock at how well everything worked. The stadium turned into an awesome representation of patriotism in no time at all. Heck, even after the anthem was over, we pulled off another card trick to show our support for farmers in America. And people think Iowans are just a bunch of hicks. With this card stunt and the recent graduation of patriot Ricky Stanzi, I would say the University of Iowa is the most patriotic school in the US that is not one of the service academies.
