The University of Louisville released a statement on Wednesday afternoon regarding the recent autograph saga.
Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is currently being investigated for alleged NCAA violations. Maneizl has reportedly accepted money from a memorabilia dealer in exchange for autographs.
The same memorabilia dealer also has autographed footballs signed by Teddy Bridgewater, which led to some questions around how he obtained these footballs and if Bridgewater compensated.
In their official statement, the University of Louisville seems more than confident that Bridgewater didn’t break any rules.
“We have spoken with Teddy Bridgewater and we are comfortable that no NCAA violations have taken place.”
The autograph dealer also has memorabilia signed by South Carolina star Jadeveon Clowney, which will likely lead to a formal investigation from the school. Ohio State has already released a statement regarding quarterback Braxton Miller, stating that the NCAA has investigated...
