There are a number of great rivalry games in college football, many of which fly under the radar. One of those games pits the BYU Cougars and the Utah Utes against each other in a clash simply known as the “Holy War.” This the final non-conference game of the year for the Utes, who have split their duels against the Northern Colorado Bears and the Utah State Aggies. Last week’s loss to Utah State was a bad one for Utah, as it was the first time in over a dozen years that the Utes lost to the Aggies, and it was a game in which the boys clad in red never led. What is really up in the air for the Utes is play at the quarterback position. Jordan Wynn retired from football after last week when he suffered the fourth shoulder injury of his collegiate career. That leave Jon Hays to lead the club with John White IV in the backfield. Hays only went 12-of-26 last week for 154 yards and a score after coming in off the bench.
