Fresno State’s star quarterback, Derek Carr, has been the heart and soul of the team all season, and does a fantastic job of hyping up his teammates with intense pregame speeches. Today, the trend continued in the locker room before the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl in which the Bulldogs are taking on the in-state powerhouse, USC. Carr told his teammates that the Trojans are five-star recruits, while his guys are one-star recruits — or at least “that’s how they [USC players] think.”
He also told his teammates that he loves them all, that they are family, and that they are about to find out who the better team really is:
