The Gators came away victorious from the season-opener against Bowling Green Saturday in a game that was interesting, to say the least. Cornerback Marcus Roberson had the lone Gator interception and returned it 30 yards before the offense took over and eventually scored. Frankie Hammond Jr. lead the Gators in receiving with 62 yards and one touchdown.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- You knew Saturday at The Swamp was going to be interesting as soon as sophomore quarterbacks Jeff Driskel and Jacoby Brissett both ran onto the field for Florida's first offensive play of the game. Brissett lined up at quarterback and Driskel at receiver. That's one way to solve a quarterback battle. Move one guy to a new position. "It was a little...

The Gators can thank Mike Gillislee, Frankie Hammond and two missed field goals for the latest one.
