Penn State wants fans to vote for its all-time football team -- segregated into one team from 1950-2010 and another legacy team (1887-1949).
It's all part of the celebration of the 125th year of football at Penn State, and, believe it or not, Joe Paterno has not been there for half of those years, but it's darn close. But he did start in 1950 as an assistant coach, and that corresponds nicely with the 1950-2010 team.

A couple of times, I've put together my all-time JoePa team, from when he became head coach in 1966. With that as my guideline, here are some of the players I would consider for the 1950-2010 team:
Quarterback: Kerry Collins, Richie Lucas, Chuck Fusina and Todd Blackledge.
Running back: Curt Warner, Lenny Moore, Blair Thomas, Lydell Mitchell and John Cappelletti.
Wide receiver: Kenny Jackson, Bobby Engram, O.J. McDuffie, Jack Curry, Deon Butler and Derrick Williams.
Tight end: Ted Kwalick and Mickey Shu...
