Washington quarterback Keith Price is uncertain how long he'll be sidelined after leaving the Huskies' game against No. 13 UCLA at halftime Friday night with an injured shoulder.
Price will have an MRI on his shoulder Saturday in Seattle after the Huskies (6-4, 3-4 Pac-12) return home from their 41-31 loss.
X-rays on Price's shoulder revealed nothing, and the three-year starter tried to remain optimistic he'll be able to play in Washington's final two regular season games, against Oregon State and Washington State.
''I thought I was going to be able to keep on going (against UCLA),'' Price said. ''It's unfortunate. I'm disappointed, and it hurts. ... I'm proud of the way the guys competed at the end, (but) it's kind of hard playing without your starting quarterback.''
Price was 10 for 18 for 181 yards and a TD pass to Jaydon Mickens, keeping the Huskies competitive after they fell behind 14-0 in the opening minutes. Price is Washington's career lead with 73 touchdown passes.
