If his reported 40 Yard Dash time is accurate, he may have just helped his chances. Especially given the fact that conditions were cold and wet in Winston-Salem. Fields had a very successful career at WSSU, twice winning CIAA Defensive Player of the Year while helping the Rams to three Division II playoff appearances.
