Georgia Bulldogs: Shaquille Fluker Could Be a Sleeper at Free Safety
Opportunity awaits in the Georgia Bulldogs secondary next season; the coaches know it, the players know it, and the fans know it. We all watched with heavy hearts and worried minds as not only Shawn Williams exited stage left on his career at Georgia, but Branden Smith and Baccari Rambo as well, and the departures left a segment of the defensive unit not only depleted of veteran...

Pre-Trial Diversion for Smith
Branden Smith entered a pretrial diversion program as a result of his Alabama pot bust. Most pretrial diversion programs allows for charges to be dismissed if the program is successfully completed.
Smith was ordered to pay $1,034 in court costs on May 18 when he was placed into the program. He was arrested on March 11 on his way to Panama City, Fla.
Georgia has not announced...
It's Past Time For Isaiah Crowell Or Branden Smith To Change Uniform Numbers
It continues to baffle me that neither Isaiah Crowell nor Branden Smith have changed uniform numbers.
By NCAA football rule, no two players on the same team can line up on the field at the same time wearing the same number. So why in the world do we continue to let two explosive offensive threats wear #1?
Though Branden Smith, who wears #1, is a defensive player first, he is...

Branden Smith Arrested: Dawgs in DB Trouble
Georgia corner back Branden Smith flirted with the NFL Draft this year. In the end, Smith made the wise decision to return to school and give it one more year to impress the scouts and GMs. This weekend, he made the opposite type of decision. Smith was pulled over late Sunday night in Henry County Alabama and a search of the car produced a bag of marijuana. The Zach Mettenberger...

Georgia Football: Branden Smith Hopes to Make A Name for Himself
With Branden Boykin gone, the heir to the "return man's throne" should fall to Branden Smith. After all, he certainly has the credentials to pick up where Boykin left off, and while I'm not predicting multiple 100-yard returns or game-changing plays from the rising senior, I do feel that he'll be entering 2012 with a sense of urgency and purpose that will...
