Maryland Terrapins quarterback C.J. Brown found an opened Daniel Adams on a seam right down the middle for a 20-yard touchdown. The score cut the Terrapins deficit against Michigan State to 9-7 in the second quarter.
The throw itself was impressive, but what was more impressive was the score came one play after the Terps converted a 4th-and-6. Maryland faced the fourth down play...
For the first time in their history, the Michigan State Spartans will tangle with the Maryland Terrapins in a battle of fellow Big Ten foes. The Spartans will be looking to bounce back in short order after falling flat against a motivated Ohio State team.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) No Maryland quarterback has started every game in a season since 2006, a streak that will continue if injured C.J. Brown can't go Saturday against No. 20 Ohio State.
Brown left Saturday's 37-15 victory at Indiana with a sprained left wrist, and his status for Maryland's long awaited Big Ten home opener against the Buckeyes (3-1) remains in doubt.

Last week's 16-point loss to Utah at home, following the 31-0 defeat at Notre Dame two weeks earlier, has made this as much a must-win game as there can be in late...

It was all good for Maryland as they rolled over former conference mate Syracuse 34-20 except for one ugly moment. Sophomore tight end Andrew Issacs got his leg rolled by teammate quarterback C.J. Brown as Brown was being tackled on a third quarter-run. Randy Edsall confirmed what was already feared following the game.
