Maryland must overcome loss of QB Brown to succeed
If Maryland is to bounce back from a 2-10 season, the Terrapins must overcome the devastating loss of junior quarterback C.J. Brown.
The good news for the Maryland is that coach Randy Edsall and his players have adjusted to each other after a rocky start. But that might not be enough to offset Brown's season-ending knee injury, which occurred in practice earlier this week.

You know the old saying "When it rains it pours," right? Well, it must be raining all sorts of crazy stuff in College Park these days as it was announced yesterday that likely 2012 starting QB C.J. Brown is out for the season with a torn ACL.
It apparently happened in a non-contact drill (side note - when do QB's ever take contact in training camp) on Tuesday...

C.J. Brown earned the job as Maryland's starting quarterback last season because of his ability to run with the football.
It is a trait that makes him susceptible to injury, and the last thing the Terrapins need is to lose the only quarterback on the roster with playing experience.
