Jaguars plan to use Denard Robinson at running back
Fifth-round pick Denard Robinson will play running back in Jacksonville according to the teams official website. Robinson served as the quarterback for the University of Michigan and experimented at wideout prior to the draft.
The 5-foot-10 Robinson will start the season behind Maurine Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew is coming off a Lisfranc injury and is entering a contract year.

Michigan Wolverines: 2013 NFL Draft Review
One was the record-setting, dynamic, playmaking quarterback of the winningest team in college football history and the other was primarily an underachieving defensive tackle during his time at Michigan. Both were uncertain of their future prior to the beginning of the 2013 NFL Draft and before it ended on Saturday, both were given opportunities to play on.

Michigan Football and the NFL Draft
The 2013 NFL Draft featured exactly two Michigan Football players getting their name called. Denard Robinson was the first Wolverine selected and that didn’t happen until the 5th round. William Campbell was selected in the 6th round by the New York Jets. Last year, Michigan had three players drafted; Mike Martin (3rd round), David Molk (7th round) and Junior Hemingway (7th round...

Denard Robinson throws better first pitch
Denard Robinson could do nothing but laugh at himself last week when he one-hopped a ceremonial pitch to the plate prior to the Detroit Tigers’ game with Toronto. Before we ridicule the young man for his less-than-stellar efforts of throwing a baseball from the pitcher’s mound, it warrants pointing out that during his career as the quarterback of the Michigan Wolverines, Denard Robinson was much better known for his skills as a runner than his acumen as a passer. Still, the young man is a world-class athlete, in possession...

Denard Robinson tosses ceremonial first pitch
Former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson's arm was always a question mark while playing for the Wolverines. He was a tremendous athlete and one of the best and most electric runners to ever play the position... but yea, about that arm. Robinson is going to try to make it at the next level as a wide receiver, but his "accuracy" was on full display as he threw...
Denard's first pitch comes up short
DETROIT -- Denard Robinson has a decent arm. Hey, he was the starting quarterback at the University of Michigan for a while.
But when Robinson threw out the first pitch before Tuesdays Tigers-Blue Jays game at Comerica Park, he spiked it about five feet in front of the plate.
Terrible! said Robinson, who smiled and laughed it off. Just horrible, man. I tried to baby it up there...
