Wide receiver Devon Smith has transferred from Penn State to Marshall. Marshall coach Doc Holliday announced Smith's transfer Thursday. Penn State dismissed senior wide receiver Devon Smithfrom the team Wednesday, according to a report by Lions 247. A Penn State football office source says he has no knowledge of the dismissal. Penn State wide receiver Devon Smith, he who once broke Joe Paterno's bones, had karma come back to bite him it seems.
