Every year we hear stories about a player getting signed to the NFL after working an odd job, prime example being Kurt Warner who was working as a bagger at a grocery store. Well today we hear of another and that’s Elliot Coffey. Coffey was working at Enterprise Auto Rental when he got a phone call from the Houston Texans.

Coffey was an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in 2012 that signed with the Broncos, but has been out of football for almost a year.
He has never appeared in a NFL regular season game, so as you can imagine when he couldn’t hang on with a team, he had to get a regular job like most 23-year-old kids fresh out of college.
