Oklahoma defeated Texas this afternoon in the 109th edition of the Red River Showdown, 31-26.
The Sooners, a heavy favorite heading into the contest, had some difficulty containing Texas’ offense. Most notably, Longhorns’ sophomore quarterback Tyrone Swoopes showed out, passing for 334 yards and two touchdowns and rushing for 50 yards and a score.
