Report: Gene Chizik to be hired as UNC's defensive coordinator

Gene Chizik, who has been out of the college football game since getting fired at Auburn is 2012, is set to rejoin the sport, according to a report by ESPN’s Joe Schad.  Chizik, who coached the Tigers from 2009-12, winning a national championship in 2010, will become the new defensive coordinator at North Carolina, Schad reports.  The 53-year-old came up through the coaching...
