Safety Gerod Holliman confirmed over the weekend that he would leave school early for the NFL. Reports have surfaced today that fellow safety James Sample will also be heading to the NFL.

It looked extremely doubtful that Louisville late signee James Sample would make it to campus on time to start practice with the team. But fortunately, it’s better late than never for Sample.
Shortly after 9 PM on Sunday evening, Mike Hughes of Inside The Ville reported that Sample has arrived on campus.
