The road to big time college football has been quite the journey for wide receiver Jeremy Chappelle. After inking with Stephen F. Austin out of high school, the talented wideout transferred to Tyler Junior College. With a strong sophomore campaign under his belt, Chappelle has elected to take his talents to Mississippi State for the balance of his college career.

Jeremy Chappelle was not a heralded major college football prospect out of Jacksonville High in his hometown of Jacksonville, Texas. After considering a couple of options, Chappelle inked with Stephen F. Austin of the Southland Conference. After one season in Nacogdoches, Chappelle elected to enroll at Tyler Junior College to chase his major college dreams.
