The Washington Redskins selected SMU offensive guard Josh LeRibeus 71st overall of the NFL Draft Friday evening. LeRibeus becomes the highest Mustang drafted since the Death Penalty sanctions.

The Washington Redskins traded back two spots from 69 overall to 71 overall and selected Josh LeRibeus, Guard, SMU. A lot of Redskins fans were pretty shocked with this pick, however, the Redskins took an underrated player.

Football. LeRibeus To Play In East-West Shrine Game
TAMPA, Fla. (SMU) - SMU's Josh LeRibeus has accepted an invitation to play in the 87th East-West Shrine Game, organizers announced today. The game will be held Jan. 21, 2012 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., kicking off at 4 p.m. EST and televised live on the NFL Network.
