Panthers double up on defensive line with Short
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers selected another defensive tackle in the second round of the NFL draft, taking Kawann Short from Purdue with the 44th overall pick.
The move comes after Carolina selected defensive tackle Star Lotulelei from Utah in the first round Thursday night.
