Syracuse became thinner at the wide receiver position as Kyle Foster has left the football program, CuseNation.com learned on Friday.
One of the question marks for the Syracuse Orange in the upcoming season was the WR position. The Orange needed more playmaking ability from that position in order to take the offense to the next level. One young player that could have helped was sophomore Kyle Foster. However, Doug Marrone announced at Big East Media Day that the 6-foot-3 receiver will miss the entire 2012 season.
Syracuse freshman wide receiver Kyle Foster will miss the football game at Connecticut on Saturday, November 5 (12:00 p.m., ESPNU) due to a lower body injury. The Ann Arbor, Mich. native has played in six games this season at receiver and on special teams.
