Boston College coach: Panthers have gem in Kuechly
At first glance Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly may not look like an NFL linebacker, what with his curly black hair, wire rim glasses and unassuming demeanor.
Boston College football coach Frank Spaziani knows differently.
Spaziani says Kuechly ''looks like Clark Kent and plays like Superman.''
Carolina already has one Superman impersonator on offense in quarterback...

Luke Kuechly says all the right things in Carolina
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Luke Kuechlys dad played soccer at Xavier, his little brother plays high school basketball in the Cincinnati area, and a few years ago, Luke was a lacrosse player getting feelers from colleges.
Luke even played some hoops back in the day, though his career ended in eighth grade because he couldnt shoot. Such a finessed skill isn't exactly required in Kuechlys...

Could Kuechly fall to Bears?
In the week before the NFL draft, rumors are rampant. Players’ stock seemingly rises and falls in the days and weeks leading up to the selection meeting. Boston College’s skilled linebacker, Luke Kuechly, is one example of a player who could slip through no fault of his own, but rather a specific need (such as quarterback) a team [...]

Luke Kuechly on Patriots' Radar, But Would Need Big Draft-Day Slide to Land in New England
Inside linebacker Luke Kuechly is one of the best defensive prospects to come out of Boston College in years, and he's got the on-field ability and leadership style to take over an NFL unit for the next decade. The Patriots have shown plenty of interest in Kuechly, too. They interviewed him at the scouting combine and sent at least two scouts to watch him during his pro day....

Luke Kuechly's Terrific Instincts, Work Ethic Make Him Special NFL Prospect (Video)
Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly won nearly every major defensive award last season, but he's still finding a way to further impress those who watch him. Kuechly turned heads at BC's pro day, showing why he's projected to go in the first half of the first round on draft day. But although his measurables stack up with anyone, it's the immeasurables -- like his...

Kuechly huge day at the Combine and how it benefits his teammates
Since you couldn't question his productivity, NFL doubters have wondered about Luke Kuechly's athleticism. Monday at the NFL Combine he put the doubters to rest. Like he did during his entire BC career, Kuechly dominated. He set some of the best marks among LBs and most importantly ran a 4.5 40 yard dash. With the head turning show, the question now is how far up the draft...

Dick Butkus personally delivers Butkus Award
It's not every day that a Trophy's namesake flies to Needham to attend a team banquet, but that's what happened Sunday. In an unusual and surprise move Dick Butkus handed Luke Kuechly the 2011 Dick Butkus Award for being the nation's best college linebacker. It is an individual award and certainly doesn't replace a bowl trip, but I think it was a nice way for...
