Florida without RT Patchan for Gator Bowl
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida will be without starting right tackle Matt Patchan against Ohio State in the Gator Bowl.
Coach Will Muschamp says Patchan injured his upper back during practice and has been ruled out for Monday's game.
Xavier Nixon, who has struggled all season and was eventually benched, likely will move back into the starting lineup against the Buckeyes...

Patchan Healthy and Productive
The injuries haven’t crept up on offensive tackle Matt Patchan this season, allowing him to be one of the most consistent offensive linemen for the Gators this year. He’s just as surprised as most that the injuries are gone. After random injuries, like being shot before the 2008 season, have kept him out, Patchan has stayed positive through it all.
