New BC coach Addazio's son among 17 signees
New Boston College coach Steve Addazio says he's only known some of his recruits for about six weeks.
But there's one he's quite familiar with.
Addazio's son, Louie, is a tight end who went to Syracuse last year. He's transferring to BC to join his father in Chestnut Hill.
Steve Addazio was hired two months ago after Frank Spaziani finished 22-29 in four-plus...

Wanted: Any 5th year transfer in FBS
Bruce Feldman's tweet about Florida Offensive Lineman Matt Patchan being interested in BC got me thinking. Why stop with just guys Addazio has a relationship with? Addazio and his staff should be making a grand push to get any interested and eligible fifth year to come to BC next season. It is a stop gap measure that could pay a nice dividend in Year 1.The current recruiting...

Patchan is Sunny Side Up
Matt Patchan’s career at the University of Florida has been plagued with injuries. Through the adversity, the redshirt junior offensive lineman has stayed strong. In Patchan’s mind, the Gators have already hit rock bottom. Thus, the only way they can go from here is up.

Patchan Healthy and Productive
The injuries haven’t crept up on offensive tackle Matt Patchan this season, allowing him to be one of the most consistent offensive linemen for the Gators this year. He’s just as surprised as most that the injuries are gone. After random injuries, like being shot before the 2008 season, have kept him out, Patchan has stayed positive through it all.
