After 11 regular-season wins, after victories over Texas A&M, LSU, South Carolina and Florida State, after a five-game improvement in head coach Will Muschamps second season, the Gators will take a break.

Muschamp notebook: Ball emerging on edge
Neiron Ball was limited in the weight room during the offseason, but as he continues to get increased time on the field this season, Florida coach Will Muschamp still thinks there is a higher ceiling for the linebacker. Ball Says He's Back
Florida's linebacker depth got a boost on Thursday. The Gators found out that Neiron Ball has been cleared to return to the team and play this fall. Ball missed the entire 2011 season after a blood vessel burst in his brain on February 15, 2011.
