Iowa salutes Veterans Day.

Iowa will be recognizing Veterans Day today, as Nov. 11 falls on a Friday this year, I guess the school felt it more appropriate to celebrate it the week before instead of the day after. Anyhow, Iowa helmets will be sporting this star-spangled Hawkeye decal on the team's helmets today. Ricky Stanzi would be so proud. (via Iowa Hawkeyes' official Twitter)
