Tommy Streeter and Brandon Washington became the fifth and six Hurricanes drafted when they were both selected in the 6th round.
The Baltimore Ravens have selected Miami wide receiver Tommy Streeter with the 198th overall pick in the NFL draft.
Streeter is a 6-foot-5, 220-pounder who had 46 catches and scored eight touchdowns for the Hurricanes last season. He left after three years at Miami, the first two of which he saw very little action.
The Ravens are looking for a downfield threat to go with Torrey...

Tommy Streeter WR Miami FL #8
Elite height. Built like a true No. 1 receiver. Adequate straight-line speed; will be able to stretch the field on occasion at the next level. Has the raw talent to develop into a No. 1 or 2 option.
Inconsistent hands; will drop some very easy passes. Traps the ball against his body far too often...
The next few weeks here on State of the Texans we will be doing some draft profiles of some particular players who could possibly fit into the Texans plans. We are not going to try to piece together scouting reports, but we enlist help of bloggers who actually cover the respective player and their school.

The Miami Hurricanes lost their leading receiver this week, as Tommy Streeter signed with an agent and declared for the NFL Draft. DT and former high school teammate Marcus Forston will leave with him, having declared a day later.
UM's 2012 offense takes a major hit with Streeter's announcement. He caught 46 passes for 811 yards and 8 touchdowns. His 17.6 per-yard average...
Two juniors on the Miami Hurricanes have decided to forego their remaining NCAA eligibility and enter the NFL draft. Via our friends at CFT, receiver Tommy Streeter and defensive tackle Marcus Forston both will turn pro. Miami is not playing in a bowl this season, so both of their college careers are over. The Miami…
Life is never dull when you cover the University of Miami.
UM wide receiver Tommy Streeter had made his decision to forgo his senior year and enter the NFL Draft, his father and mother both told me today.
He had a long, long meeting with Coach Al Golden, and not sure if any other coaches were in there (don't think so, but not positive). Golden apparently swayed Streeter enough...
CORAL GABLES -- The way receiver Tommy Streeter has shined lately you could definitely make an argument he's taken over the role as the go-to-guy in the Hurricanes offense.
Wednesday, before UM wrapped up its morning practice, Touchdown Tommy was in a position that would have made Canes fans queasy if they were around. The 6-5, 215-pound junior limped off Greentree Field without...
For the first time in his career, University of Miami junior Tommy Streeter has been named ACC Receiver of the Week as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference office on Monday.
